Improve Movement, Improve Life!

Move better, reduce pain, improve the quality of your life......

We are located in Fearrington Village, a quiet wooded community on the south side of Chapel Hill, NC.  In our practice, we work with individual clients and teach Feldenkrais and Tai Chi for Health & Balance classes at the Duke Center for Living, the Health and Fitness Center at Fearrington.

Who do we work with?

  • People who want to move without aches, pains and discomfort.....including those with chronic pain brought on by repetitive stress or physical exercise.
  • Seniors, Baby Boomers and people with arthritis who want to improve or maintain their balance, coordination and breathing--necessities for independence as people age.
  • People recovering from injury or surgery, especially when compensation patterns continue after the initial problem is resolved.
  • People wishing to retain or regain their movement capabilities after diagnosis of brain injury, stroke or neuro-muscular disease such as fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s.
  • Musicians, dancers, artists and singers who find that efficient use of the whole body, along with better breathing, helps them perform better and recover from stress or injury faster.
  • Runners, cyclists, kayakers and other athletes who wish to maximize speed and endurance without increasing risk of injury or discomfort.
  • People at all levels of physical fitness who wish to sleep better, be more agile, look younger, have better posture, feel better about themselves and enjoy life more!
